handmade soap is made by the cold process method, which retains all the naturally-occurring glycerin of the saponification process. The oils used are all vegetable based, so vegetarians can feel comfortable knowing that no animal fats are present. Many of the soaps are also vegan, using no animal products whatsoever. You will feel comforted, knowing that your skin is being treated with an all-natural product which helps to moisturize it and continues to keep it soft through continued use.
1Handmade soap is wonderful for your skin, because it contains the natural glycerin which occurs in the soap making process. Most commercial soaps have their glycerin extracted and sold to other industries. This is why your skin feels dry and itchy after you use them. The glycerin in handmade soap leaves your skin silky soft! Please note that Carrie's Creations Inc. soaps are homemade "from scratch" using the old fashioned cold-process method. They are not made from melt & pour soap base that is sold in craft stores - those clear soaps full of brightly colored, fancy shapes may look fun, but they contain lots of undesirable ingredients and are not made from all natural ingredients.
